RawDrop privacy policy

RawDrop is made by OCTOBER, a design studio in London.

What RawDrop does with your photos. RawDrop reads your photo library to find photos that contain a RAW file. When you choose to send photos, it copies the RAW files to a temporary folder on your phone and hands them to the app you pick in the iOS share sheet, such as Lightroom. The temporary copies are deleted afterwards. RawDrop never modifies, deletes or uploads your photos.

What RawDrop stores. A list of which photos you have already sent, and a small snapshot for the Home and Lock Screen widgets showing how many photos are waiting, with up to four thumbnails. Both are stored only on your phone and are removed when you delete the app.

What RawDrop collects. Nothing. RawDrop has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. It does not send any data off your device.

Permissions. RawDrop asks for access to your photo library so it can find RAW files. You can change this at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Photos.
